Successful December!

The Holiday Market held this last December was a major success, with nearly every artist who participated making sales and an overall profitable weekend for the Art Center. With sales continuing on after the Market, artists at the Brownsivlle Art Center brought in a total of $4500 in December! Congratulations for such a success!

In the Gallery for January:
BAA Member Show

This month come in and see the great art produced by the members of Brownsville’s Art Center. We have such a wonderful community of talented artists, and for January we will be displaying them.

Call to Artists: 8×8 Show

One of the BAA’s most popular shows is right around the corner, so stop by the Art Center and pick up a $5 canvas and get started! Remember that all art needs to be on a wire, but other than keeping to the 8×8 size, the sky is the limit!

Need more details? Check out the website here, or stop by the Art Center.

January Featured Artist

Pat Biesinger

Pat Biesinger has been a wonderful volunteer of the Brownsville Art Association for years, and we are pleased to have her as January’s Featured Artist. Most of the art that she has on display is art from a time when she lived in Roseburg and participated in classes teaching ceramic and oil painting.

Even though she has not created art while living in Brownsville, she has been a vital patron of the local arts community. She has been the Volunteer Coordinator at the Brownsville Art Association for 3 years, has chaired the Book Club, a docent for the Museum giving tours of the Moyer House, and a terrific cast member for the Carriage Me Back.

Be sure you don’t miss the lovely display up only for the month of January!
