Need help to make a junk art sculpture or collage? Come to the Brownsville Art Center on Thursday, July 28, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm where there will be people to help you get started. There will be random pieces of junk as well as wood glue, hot glue guns, wire, drills, screws, tin snips, hammer, nails, and small pieces of matte board for you to use. Bring your own junk and be sure to take home any of your junk that you don’t use.
The workshop is free and open to all ages. You will have the option of putting your junk art in the upcoming JUNQUE ART SHOW starting August 1. If you have questions call or text Cheryl Haworth at 541-990-2712.
