Join us Friday, September 12, upstairs at the Brownsville Art Center for the launch of Kobuk Too, a new book by The Brownsville Times staff writer Annie Swensen, illustrated by local artist Uriah Roth.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with coffee and refreshments. At 7 p.m., Annie will read a short selection, followed by a meet-and-greet signing. Copies of the first printing will be available for purchase.
Kobuk Too is a collection of tender and enchanting stories introducing Buck, an extra-large, quirky, and often funny dog, and the author who loves him deeply. Through Buck’s gentle wisdom and joyful spirit, Annie reflects on life’s challenges, finding tranquility in his companionship.
