‘Nature is my inspiration in everything I paint. I always look around me and see the beauty of a sunrise and hear the song of a bird. Many people have lost
the joys of the day-to-day natural environment around us with our busy schedules and day-to-day routine that we tend to filter out nature around us. I try to bring it back into focus with my art.’I am mostly a self-taught artist and enjoy working in oils, acrylics, and watercolors. I have been in a variety of art shows and have sold paintings throughout the country in the last 15 years. Since moving to California in 2015 my inspiration with nature and the coastal environment have been a huge influence in my paintings. My love of birds is also evident in my paintings which inspire that playful side of life. Every chance I get, I enjoy visiting the vast array of coastal towns and mountains in and around the Pacific Northwest coast with family and friends. You are welcome to follow me on:
