Show Off Your Junk Art at the Art Center’s Junk Art Show, August -September
Nothing’s more fun than creating Original Art from odd bits and assorted pieces of junk. All you need is IMAGINATION.
What’s JUNK? Look in your garage, in the backyard, under the bed, in the hall closet, your Dad’s shop and you’ll find old bed springs, chunks of wood, funny fabric, leftover paper clips or feathers from Grandma’s hat. Nail, glue, twist those bits together and voila, you have Junk Art. Anyone can do it, from kids to grownups. And anyone can enter their junky creations in the Brownsville Art Center’s Junk Art Show starting August 1 and running through the end of September.
Need INSPIRATION? Come to a Junk Art workshop at the Brownsville Art Center right next to Brownsville City Hall on Main Street:

Artists can deliver their creations to the Art Center July 25-27 10:00-4:00.
