Need help to make a junk art sculpture or collage? Come to the Brownsville Art Center on Wednesday, June 24 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm and Saturday, June 27th 2-4pm, where there will be people to help you get started. There will be random pieces of junk as well as wood glue, hot glue guns, wire, drills, screws, tin snips, hammer, nails, and small pieces of matte board for you to use. Bring your own junk and be sure to take home any of your junk that you don’t use.
The workshop is free and open to all ages. You will have the option of putting your junk art in the upcoming JUNK ART SHOW starting July 1. If you have questions call or text Cheryl Haworth at 541-990-2712.
