Kids Animal Mask class
Date: Saturday, September 23, 2023 and October 28, 2023
Time: 10:00 AM to 1:00PM (or until completion of mask)
Number of students: 6 max
Ages: 7 thru 12
Cost: $10 non-refundable registration and class feeOverview: Participants will be provided with all materials and step by step instructions for creating a cardstock animal mask of their choice. They will draw and cut out their mask, color it with markers, crayons, and/or oil pastels, embellish with gem stickers, glue it in places to create a 3D effect, and attach an elastic band for wearing.
Mask Choices: Cat, Rabbit, Fox, Dog, Bear, Giraffe, Leopard, Lion, Zebra, Koala, Parrot, Tiger, Owl , Deer, Sheep Dog and Sheep. (Note: the parrot and owl masks are most suitable for older children) Please have your child’s choice of mask reserved on your registration form.
Other: Please have your child bring a bag lunch and something to drink.
Class is being taught by Avery Anderson, Animal Art Artist
Avery has devoted herself to animals all of her life. Spending over 30 years as a glass artist (as well as being a wild life rehabber, dog trainer, and equine vet tech), she retired from glass and renewed her love of painting. Today she works with pastels and gourds, creates wildlife and pet portraits, as well as gourd masks.Avery Anderson
